Telent Technology Services are for a (Lead) Systems Engineer who can bring knowledge and experience across in Station Communication Systems Design & Delivery. This is an opportunity for a “Project focused” individual to work on mission-critical upgrade projects for our London Underground Jubilee Line stations – this is a long-term opportunity offering stability and growth!

(Lead) Systems Engineer role:
Acting as the (Lead) Systems Engineer for various projects, you will be responsible for undertaking all technical aspects of project engineering. You will work as part of a talented team of 4 technically minded Systems Engineers.
You will be required to assist and manage the production of design packages across these key areas – Public Address (PA), CCTV systems, SISS, Surveillance, Passenger Help Points, Customer Display Board, Station Management Systems and Stations Comms Systems.
As the (Lead) Systems Engineer, you will also be acting as Technical “go-to” specialist for new works and production of cost models.
(Lead) Systems Engineer responsibilities:
- Produce tested and verified Systems and Network designs
- Ensure designs are risk assessed in accordance with CDM obligations
- Produce test documentation to validate the implemented designs
- Provide technical support to implementation teams
- Report against programme to relevant Project Manager
- Drive efficiencies in repeated work scopes through design re-use
- Produce resource plans for customers works
- Interface with internal and external engineering teams to ensure all works are planned and completed on time
(Lead) Systems Engineer qualifications / skills required:
- Degree or HNC in an Engineering related subject (desirable)
- CRSE License
- Experience of Windows Servers / Systems, Microsoft Architecture
- Exposures to Firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower
- Strong knowledge of / experience of Network routing & switching
