Junior Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer Systems Engineers are required to work for an engineering consultancy that specialises in Systems Engineering for major infrastructure projects.
The aim is to reduce the risks associated with complex programmes and projects.
This is a permanent staff position for Junior Systems Engineers and Systems Engineer level, with training and development opportunities to become Senior Systems Engineers.

A Junior Systems Engineer is typically an entry-level position in the field of systems engineering. Systems engineering involves designing, integrating, and managing complex systems over their life cycles.
General Responsibilities: - Assisting with the design and implementation of systems. - Collaborating with senior engineers to develop and implement system enhancements. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. - Documenting system configurations and processes. - Supporting the definition of project requirements, including acceptance criteria for the design and commissioning of works. - Validating the definition of design and requirements acceptance criteria for the design and commissioning of works. - Managing requirements using DOORS / DOORS Next, or other client requirements management systems. - Identifying and managing risks associated with requirements, considering potential impacts on the project or system.
Experience Criteria: - Degree qualified in an Engineering or relevant Scientific discipline. - Engineering background (Electrical/Mechanical/Systems). - Experience in requirements management through the complete lifecycle of a project and associated approaches and techniques, ideally on a large infrastructure project within an industry such as Rail, Defence or Nuclear. - Understanding of best practises for substantiating requirements and progressing through the Verification and Validation cycle. We are looking for applicants with a degree in an Engineering or relevant Scientific discipline, as well as an Engineering background (Electrical/Mechanical/Systems). Experience in requirements management through the complete lifecycle of a project and associated approaches and techniques is desired, ideally on a large infrastructure project within an industry such as Rail, Defence or Nuclear. Knowledge of best practises for substantiating requirements and progressing through the Verification and Validation cycle is also a plus.
