Systems Process Engineer - Office/Home Working, South West
We are working with a client who are urgently looking for an experienced Systems Process Engineer to support continued project growth and demand.
The client are offering this opportunity outside IR35, mainly working from home with occasional travel to their office based in the South West. This is a longterm role with continued work in an internationally known business.
The role responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
- Facilitate planning discussions (organisation of planning sessions, capture actions in dedicated tool(s)/tracker and follow-up),
- Facilitate reporting,
- Documentation and maintenance of SE processes (based on inputs from SEM, Team leads),
- Put in place toolings to support processes application (requirement management, risk register, change control tool, sharepoint environment, doc review…),
- Writing guidances and work instructions as needed to ease deployment in the team for relevant tooling (eg: PTC, DOORS, sharepoint, digital signature…),
- Support team on application of processes and use of tooling,
- Ensures adherence to process and drive continuous improvement for area of responsibility
- Production of templates (and maintenance),
- Tooling/Work environment administration (access management, user support, tool configuration, data management, coordinate problem reports on tools issues and upgrade, synchronisation and baseline for requirements management tools),
- Support SE lifecyle review
The ideal candidate will have:
- ETCS project delivery knowledge,
- Broad IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, other system engineering tools like IBM rationale for change control and problem report management),
- In depth experience of using DOORS and PTC (modelling tool),
- Keen to improve working methodology, in context of Application Readiness,
- Capacity to understand the need and deliver accordingly
- Organised, autonomous and self-reliant,
- Facilitator,
- Open minded, keen to adapt to new working methodology (eg: new approach to development, evolving process) and participate to their elaboration,
- Initiative and ownership,
- Delivery mindset,
- Capacity to work under time and budget constraints,
- Keen to work in agile environment with evolving priorities.
