A fast paced rail organization are looking for a Systems/Requirements Engineer on a permanent basis to join their growing team. This will be working on a proposed new rail link between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridge and potentially beyond. As part of the wider plans for this strategically important corridor, it is one of the most high profile infrastructure projects in the UK today. The new railway will improve local connectivity and serve as a catalyst for economic development and the creation of new housing, as well as significantly reducing existing journey times. This role is currently based in London (St James Park) although the office will relocate to Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but limited to:
Be responsible for the quality, management, configuration and version control of system requirements across the programme
Manage requirements using IBM Rational DOORS
Be responsible for configuration management of requirements
Oversee Change Management of Requirements
Maintain traceability across requirements
Generate and communicate metrics demonstrating the health and status of requirements

Given the early stage of the project, it is likely that the nature of the role may evolve as the project progresses.
