TXM Recruit are looking for a Technical Documentation Engineer to be part of a growing specialist engineering company in the Midlands. 


Role Summary:

Reporting to the Lead Engineers for Rail, you will be working within the Engineering Department and the main responsibility of the role is to produce a range of technical documentation & manuals for rail products.


Role Responsibilities:

• Review of technical reports
• Manage and develop documentation and process requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the customer project
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and diagrams
• Overseeing the technical side of rail engineering design and modelling

Role Requirements:

• Good communication skills both written and verbally
• Competent using MS Office programmes 
• Proven working experience in technical writing of rail documentation
• Mechanical/Electrical engineering knowledge
• Engineering degree is desirable
