Job title: Telecoms Network Design Engineer

Type: Permanent

Location: Your home office can be based in either the Northern or Southern Region (Hybrid working available)

Role:

An opportunity has come available for a Telecoms Network Design Engineer to work on a permanent basis for a principal railway contractor.

To be considered for this opportunity you will require previous design experience carrying out designs of transmission and network systems (e.g. SDH & PDH

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Produce transmission & network designs
• Attendance at meetings with clients, senior management, sub-contractors and internal project team
• To ensure delegated areas of the contract are completed to meet legislation and relevant standards.
• Liaise with telecoms technicians and design, Install and test staff, and additional collaboration with Signalling design, installation.

Essential Requirements:

• Significant experience in managing network architectures and deployment
• Rail Telecoms design experience
