Finance Business Partner

Rail Client

Location - Exeter (2 days in the office / 3 days from home)

Contract - 12 months initially

Inside IR35

Day rate - Disclosed on application

A Finance Business partner is required to join the client in their Exeter office to provide strategic insights across every department of the business. You will provide financial advice and guidance to budget holders and demonstrate strong understanding of business needs and relevant application of accounting standards. You will have previous significant experience within finance disciplines and understanding of financial control.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Advise on financial results and forecasts for budget holders
• Preparing period accruals, transfers and adjustments
• Reviewing compliance with financial regulations to protect the business from legal or negative consequences
• Delivering expert and accurate business review information and reporting

Essential

• Membership (Or working towards a membership) of a relevant accounting body (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent experience
• Expert knowledge and experience of creating and maintaining accounts and annual budget
• Demonstrable effective influencing skills at a senior level
• Excellent technical finance and accounting knowledge
• Ideal candidate will have understanding of project management principles and experience of managing complex project as well as
