We are currently in the process of recruiting for a Construction Manager to join a highly successful project team on a number of construction projects across Essex and the South East.

Please Note: This is a 12 month contract-to-permanent position, or straight permanent.
Contract: £300.00 per day / Permanent: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are looking for a dynamic Construction Manager who is looking for an opportunity that comes with guaranteed career progression and development.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director & Commercial Director, this is an excellent opportunity for any senior site/sub agents, senior site managers or general managers to progress into a new senior management role and develop accordingly.

Experience & Skills Required

* At least 5 years construction project management experience within multi-disciplinary industries (including residential, commercial, schools, greenfield, rail, construction and utilities)
* Preferably have obtained CIOB or RICS accreditation.
* Strong awareness of construction details and design development
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to lead Structural, Architectural & Interior design consultants through the design development within our budget constraints.

The Role

* Working on a number of projects (various sectors as above) ranging from £100,000 to £5,000,000 across London, Essex & The South East.
* Acting as a go-between between the commercial and contract lead and the group's Managing Director.
* Responsible for overseeing multiple sites and projects, delegating tasks to site managers and engineering staff, occasionally holding toolbox talks, writing ITPs and associated tasks.
* Taking full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance on site.

You will be able to develop your own teams and move the company in the right direction as you see fit - this position will only suit someone with high career aspirations and who must be open to permanent employment after an initial 12 month period.
