My client has a global presence in the rail sector, specialising in Signalling, Telecoms, Rolling Stock and Power.

Due to an increase in project works they require an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them on a 6 month contract.

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will support the Lead Quantity Surveyor, providing validation to support changes as part of final accounts.

You will be required to assist in gathering cost/timesheet information and liaising with RIDIC project staff to provide cost build ups in preparation of quotations to then submit to end clients.

Specialist Skills / Experience Required

• Good IT skills,
• Cost reporting,
• Experience of finance systems,
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience of sourcing historic records/timesheets to build evidence to present to end clients
