CRE Telecoms Engineer in London and Coventry, London and Coventry, United Kingdom
Our client is a telecommunications systems company who provides communication system solutions, from bespoke design through to the installation & final commissioning. They offer a full range of solutions for security, CCTV, sensors, access control within the rail sector.
This company are looking for an experienced CRE Telecoms Engineer where you will be working on a number of projects including Crossrail, Network Rail and LUL.
There will be a requirement to travel between our client’s offices, London and Coventry. – This will be a long term contract paying up to £375 per day.
In this role you will include the following:
- Accountability for all telecoms deliverables, acting as reviewer
- Produce / manage the production of drawings, specifications and technical documents in accordance with GRIP design stages
- Interface with other multidisciplinary designers, contractors and Project Engineers
Experience Required:
- You must be a recognised CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer)
- It is essential that you have a proven background as Telecoms CRE with the skills to engage with the Telecoms counterpart within the UK's largest Rail client.
- Educated to degree level / HNC or ONC - Ideally an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (IEng/CEng)
- Detailed design with knowledge of the following systems, CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, Met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN's, WAN's, Entertainment, Cabling and Power Supplies.
