Document Controller. Our client is one of the leading Programme Managers to the Infrastructure and Property sectors and as a result of new awards, seek a Document Controller to to work in Birmingham on a major Rail project.

The successful Document Controller rate will be £200 per day.

You must have experience on Rail or Infrastructure projects!

You will provide support to users in the day to day operation of the principal electronic document management system, eB and its interface with other systems such as Sharepoint, Horizon, CRM, Projectwise etc.

As the Document Controller you will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
Configure, implement and manage the EDM system as required.
Monitor compliance, user behaviour and system adoption. Introduce training programmes.
Gain an understanding of the services being offered by the team and seek to more effectively communicate with clients and external organisations.
Develop excellent working relationships with the client and contractors/consultants involved in the provision of services.

Key Skills
Experience using at least one of the following EDMS at configuration level: Aconex, ViewPoint/4P, Asite, Bentley Projectwise.
Experience using at least two other EDMS, preferably at administrator level.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Large development experience in a Rail environment preferred.
Experience working in a site environment an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Well organised and able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Must be able to manage priorities according to the demands of the project environment.
