Improvement Manager in United Kingdom
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Improvement Manager to join their growing team in Birmingham.
Candidates are required to have a strong Project Management skills but a background in Health and Safety is not required.
3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Essential Skills
ï Proven track record of implementing Programme Management of health and safety projects through to successful achievement of planned business benefits.
ï Knowledge and experience of project management principles, methods, techniques and tools, e.g. MSP, APMP, Prince II Practitioner.
ï Proven ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships and effective channels of communication in a pressurised and highly time sensitive environment.
ï Demonstrate track record of effective deployment of resources in a dynamic multi-project environment.
ï Knowledge and experience of the identification, assessment and management of programme and project risks.
ï Cross â€"functional and inter-disciplinary awareness, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
Knowledge and experience of effective delivery in conjunction with third party teams.
Desirable Skills
ï Track record of working on high profile, public sector or transport initiatives is highly desirable.
ï Knowledge and experience of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
