I have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Arboriculturist to join a specialist service provider, who specialise in various aspects within various industries, predominately rail; including but not limited to: Arboriculture, Environmental, Building works, Pest Control, Minor Civils, Station car parks, Train cleaning and Line Marking.

Sitting within their Environmental and Sustainability division, with support from the Head of Arboriculture and Ecologist, as Junior Arboriculturist you will be responsible for conducting surveys, tree ident and have the opportunity to work on an exciting AI project bespoke to the company and their client.

This is an entry level role, where you will receive an immense amount of support and guidance from senior members of the team in order to assist in shaping your future career within the company. The company pride themselves on progression and career development and will ensure all training is provided within the role.

Key responsibilities for this Junior Arboriculturist role:

- Liaising with clients, client project managers and stakeholders.
- Liaising with internal project managers and contract managers.
- Tree ident for the specialised Drone Survey team
- Site inspections to report back to the Head of Arboriculture
- A varied range of arboricultural reports, surveys and inspections.
- This role does include travelling to sites, and the need to be in their head office in Essex 2 days per week.

Experience required for this Junior Arboriculturist role:

- Hold a level 3 Arboricultural Qualification, or LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector certificate.
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have excellent tree ident skills and a working knowledge of common pests and diseases.

Package offered for this Junior Arboriculturist role:

- £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
- 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
