Junior Project Manager

My client is a well-established Nationwide transportation company whose professionalism and well-respected name, have been instrumental in their success. They provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.

They are now looking for an enthusiastic Project Management Assistant/Junior Project Manager for an initial period of 6 months.

The Role will involve

• Coordinating project meetings,
• Track and drive actions from project meetings with all members of the project team,
• Record lessons learnt for the Project using the company’s lessons learnt procedure as appropriate
• Assist with risk management using ARM as delegated by the Project Manager
• Coordinate the delivery of project GRIP products and deliverables
• Input to and prepare project management documentation, including Project Management Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Diversity Impact Assessments,
• Preparation of CDM and CSM documentation for review by the Project Manager,
• Use of DOORS to track and manage project requirements where applicable,
• Recognise and promote positive safety behaviours and take responsibility to ensure that any further actions are raised and followed through,
• Work with colleagues, customers and teams to communicate risks within my area and ensure that any learning is made known to the wider team and
• Ensure Safety Conversations are undertaken and formally recorded.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• Rail experience- preferably previous experience with Network Rai
• An Enthusiastic, “Can-Do” attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office programmes
• Previously worked as part of a project team, assisting the Project Manager to deliver projects to time
