Pay – up to £31.00 per hour umbrella.
Weekly pay.

Summary
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a fixed-term contract based in London. The successful candidate should have previously worked within a FM corporate environment and be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific applications. This role requires the ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, evaluate design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety, and estimate project timelines and costs. The Mechanical engineer will also simulate and test system operations and investigate products from vendors and competitors to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Evaluate the cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.
• Estimate project timeframes and costs.
• Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, or systems.
• Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors.
Education & Experience
• 18th edition
• 0-2 years of relevant experience within a corporate environment.
Skills
• Creativity and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common engineering computations.
• Competence in detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Application of electrical theory principles to engineering projects.
• Experience with computer applications and design software relevant to the engineering field.
