Are you a Senior Civil Design Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are working with an internationally recognised consultancy who are looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis. The reason for the hire is due to an influx in projects this year, with an excellent outlook for the future of the business.

For this reason, they are looking for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress within their career with them and eventually take on more responsibility within the company.

The purpose of the role is to work simultaneously across several projects (national and international) for their transport and infrastructure departments, from concept through to the commissioning phases. You will also develop junior members of staff, manage a design team and use your industry knowledge to solve technical problems, delegating tasks and liaising cross functionally with other departments within the business.

Key Skills:

• Preliminary and detailed design for highways, drainage, and external works
• Civil 3D and MicroDrainage (Desirable)
• Exposure to managing a design team to project completion, time and budget
• Communication cross functionally and liaising with multiple internal departments to resolve issues
