Project Manager – Rail Civils | London | £400 per day (Outside IR35)

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Rail Civil Engineering contractor, taking responsibility for the delivery of a major rail civils programme in London. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of HSEQ performance across all project sites.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor project delivery teams to achieve milestones and company objectives.
- Manage planning, resources, and subcontractors to deliver works on time and within budget.
- Produce and present progress reports, proposals, and client documentation.
- Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and activity plans.
- Provide clear leadership and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, senior leadership, and regional teams.
- Monitor and report on commercial and financial performance.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within rail, civil engineering, or bridge projects.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid financial acumen with a track record of managing project budgets.
- Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction (HNC/HND/Degree).
- Current PTS.
