RAMS Expert - Rail Baltica (Latvia)

Project: High-speed rail project linking Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to the European rail network via Poland, catering to passenger and freight transport.

Salary Package: €7,000 gross per month + accommodation allowance

Overview: Join an ambitious high-speed rail project that will connect the Baltic States to the European rail network, enhancing passenger and freight transport between Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland. We are seeking a RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Expert to ensure the safety and efficiency of this cutting-edge infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee safety-related submittals by the Engineer to the Employer, Coordinator, and AsBo (Assessment Body), including providing relevant answers from the Engineer to the Contractor.
• Supervise the implementation of all requirements of relevant safety regulations.
• Serve as the direct point of contact for the Employer, Contractor, Coordinator, and AsBo concerning safety topics.
• Approve the Contractor's use of document templates different from those contained in the RBDG, subject to Employer approval.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in RAMS management for large-scale rail projects.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the rail industry.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to supervise and guide the implementation of safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Flexibility to adapt to project-specific document templates and regulatory needs.
