Rail Design co-ordination (High speed) - Latvia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experience Rail Design Co-ordination to work on behalf of a leading European Consultancy acting a Main Contractor. The role shall be working in Latvia on the Rail Baltica project and be responsible for the co-ordination of the design for the Civil component including track, embankment, bridge as well as some stations & depots.

Opportunity:

This would be a fantastic opportunity to join an international team of engineers working on a high-profile project in Latvia as part of the largest Rail project in Europe and play a key role in its successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be responsible for co-ordinating the designs across the Latvian section of the project, resolving issues as they arise and minimising disruptions. You shall be working closely with multi-disciplinary design teams, the main contract as well as the end client and stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome to the project.

Key elements in the project include Bridges, Track, Stations and the Interface with local Utilities.

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Structural engineering or related subject
• Over 10 years of experience in the design/ construction Rail stations projects
• Over 5 years of co-ordinating across a wide range of Civil packages
• Previous Contractor experience could be advantageous
• Regional experience would be beneficial.

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication

Salary Package:

The salary for this position is expected to €8,000 to 10,000 per month with an additional allowances.
