Rail Infrastructure Project Manager - Romania

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a leading European Contractor who are requiring an experienced Project Manager to join their company for a major upcoming Rail project in Romania.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

The opportunity is to join a major international contractor who has a large-scale Rail infrastructure project, which you would be involved with from its early phase and lead its successful delivery. As part of an International team you shall be working closely with the Project Director & Senior Management and stirring the development and delivery of the project in a leading role.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, you shall be responsible for:

• Project Management: i.e., Defining the scope of the project, creating detailed work plans & schedules, identify resource requirements, Maintain contact with client, partners and stakeholder
• Project Accounting: Supported by a Contracts team manage the budget and contractual elements of the project
• Standards: Ensure that maintenance of Health & Safety as well as Quality Standards
• Project Implementation: Lead the delivery of the projects, manage sub-contractors and ensure profitability

Typical requirements for the role:

• Graduate Engineer in Universities in the field of railway/ infrastructure construction;
• Past Experience in the position of Project Director and / or Project Manager and / or Project Coordinator, in at least 2 Contracts (minimum value 100 Milion €) for execution and / or design and execution, of new construction and / or modernization works of railway in EU Countries;
• Hight experience and knowable of technical/operational aspect of Railway Projects (civil/railway/electrical/signalization works);
• Languages: Fluent English, Romanian is a plus.

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is around $8-12,000 per month with a full package including Flights, transport, insurance, per diem.
