Rail/ Metro Quality Expert (Civil) - Philippines

EWI Group is recruiting a Quality Expert (Civil) to support a major metro rail project in Manila. This role is embedded within the client team and will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality across all civil works during construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Chief Quality Assurance and Quality Control Expert to execute all quality-related activities on civil works throughout the construction phase.
• Review and assess QA/QC plans submitted by contractors for civil works.
• Support resident engineers and technical experts in evaluating contractor work plans, specifically regarding QA/QC compliance.
• Assist in on-site inspections of civil works to verify adherence to approved quality standards and specifications.
• Provide technical input and recommendations to improve quality processes and resolve non-conformities.
• Ensure alignment with international standards and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
• Proven experience in reviewing and implementing QA/QC plans and conducting site inspections.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Experience working in a client-representative or PMC role is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to be based full-time in Manila.

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is in the region of $7-10,000 Tax free with a package.
