Rail Resident Engineer/ Co-ordination (Stations) - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experience Resident Engineer with strong experience of Rail/ Metro stations including both Underground and elevated structures for the construction phase of a major Rail project in Manila.

Opportunity:

This would be a fantastic opportunity to join an international team of engineers working on a high-profile project in the Philippines and play a key role in its successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be responsible for supervising the construction of a number of stations, working closely with multi disciplines and design teams to manage the execution of the contractor and to minimise claims against the end client.

The role shall be to co-ordinate all aspects including E&M systems, Architectural and Railway Systems to ensure the International contractor has the access and information to fulfil their obligation and they standards, specifications and timeframes are met. A key element shall be the interface across the various systems.

You will be supporting the Project Director and to Contract Management team to provide progress reports, resolve technical issues and minimise disruptions.

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical, Architectural, Civil or related subject
• Over 10 years of experience in the supervision of Rail stations projects
• Over 5 years of co-ordinating across all aspects/ systems.
• Previous Contractor experience could be advantageous
• Regional or JICA financed project experience would be benenfical.

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication

Salary Package:

The salary for this position is expected to $8,000 to 10,000 TAX FREE per month with an additional $2,000 for allowances.
