(RAIL) Rolling Stock Expert - India

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a Rolling Stock Expert for an ongoing Metro construction project in the Northern India.

Opportunity:

My client is a European consultancy firm who have numerous projects in and around the country and who are working on the supervision of the construction of an ODA financed project in the northern India. The successful individual shall be joining an International Team on a long-term project and playing a key role in its successful delivery.

Responsibilities of the role:

The Rolling Stock Expert will be working as part of the PMC Manage, Organize and Coordinate all works for the Acquisition, Testing, Commissioning and Preparation for Client Handover including the Transfer of Knowledge and Skills, Spares and Special tools of the new Rolling Stock. Key aspects of the role shall be stakeholder management, dealing with the manufacturer and the client as the design has finished. These will include, Managing the Contractor's Contract and Contractor Interface; Interface to Client.

Key requirements for the role:

• Graduate in related subject
• 20+ general experience
• 7+ years' experience in Rolling Stock for Metro projects.
• 5+ years in a similar role.
• Knowledge of European metro standards
• Previous International Project experience.

Salary Package:

The salary package shall be around €11,000 per month TAX FREE with additional allowances for accommodation etc.
