Systems Assurance Manager - Canada

EWI are supporting a leading European Railway Infractructure comapny in their search for a Systems Assurance Manager for a major LRT project in Canada. The role involves overseeing the safety, verification, and validation (V&V) of all systems across the project, including signalling, rolling stock, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead systems assurance, safety, RAMS, and V&V activities across all LRT systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).

• Manage V&V plans, safety cases, and assurance reports.

• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project safety and assurance requirements are met.

• Support integration and commissioning teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• 15+ years in rail systems assurance, safety, V&V, and RAMS.

• Experience with LRT/rail projects and relevant international standards.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Must be willing to relocate to Edmonton.

• Right to work in Canada is preferred (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
