Civil / Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 negotiable

Summary
My client is a fast growing Design Consultancy specialising in High Rise, Residential & Commercial construction consulting services with expertise in Structural and Civil Engineering.
They are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Senior or Intermediate Civil Engineers to join their dynamic team based in Leicester. Their growth has been fast putting the team at the heart of all they do ensuring to celebrate together each month.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and built to the highest standards. Our client is recruiting across all levels of Civil & Structural Roles due to a number of recent tenders and the growing name in the industry.

Responsibilities of the Civil Engineer
- Project Planning and Design: Supporting Senior Management in qualifying, designing and signing off on others works ensuring compliance at each stage.
- Technical Oversight: Providing technical oversight and guidance on existing civil engineering contracts and projects
- Budget and Schedule Management: Supporting the BID & Tendering teams and conducting feasibility studies
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all designs, plans, and projects comply with local and national building codes and safety regulations
- Inspection and Maintenance: Inspecting and assessing the condition of physical structures and recommending repairs or alterations as necessary
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on project status, risks, and mitigation plans
- Supporting junior members of the team in their development and signing off.
- Attending client visits as and when required representing the business.

Experience of the Civil Engineer
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Role
- 3 Plus years working within a Civil OR Structural Role
- Incorporated Engineer or working towards a chartership is advantageous.
- Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
- Experience in High Rise, Residential or Student Accomadation
- Experience in the use of Civil Design Software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Tekla Detailing
- Competence in the use of Autodesk Revit
