We value diversity, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach. We are currently seeking a Systems Senior Contract Manager to join our team and drive service excellence across our networks.
Overview of the Role:
Delivering a safe and reliable passenger service with a specific focus on engineering, maintenance and asset management for the following systems:
- Rolling Stock, Engineering Vehicles, Depots, Depots Facilities
- TVS
- PSD
- SCADA, Telecom, AFC, PISPAS
- Signaling System (ATS, ATC, ATO,…)
- Traction and Station Power Supply
- Track
Guaranteeing above and beyond the relevant contractual KPRs, Reviewing the contract and contractual documentation within Systems scope and ensuring compliance Setting up and implementing all processes contributing to ensure a high level of performance on Rails systems scope
Key Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the ISO 55001 certification
- Assist with the team the RQHSE department in the ISO 9000 and 14000 Certifications for all subcontracted maintenance activities
- Collaborate and coordinate with a team of contracts managers & system engineers and liaise with all other company departments
- Liaise with external stakeholders (Qatar Rail, subcontractors, third parties) as and when required
- Liaise with groups experts and engineers and have a proactive role in the group networking to share good practices and enforce two-way knowledge transfer
- Provide contractual support to the commercial team
- Ensure thorough audits and inspections as well as data records checks are carried out to ensure compliance and high standard quality from the Subcontractor, and provide recommendations
- Take a proactive approach in subcontractor partnership and win-win approach leading to better value for money of the assets
- Initiate improvement plans and enhanced service delivery through KPRs/KPIs, including the introduction of new technologies through business cases
- Continuously benchmark the subcontractors against competitors and review the contracts periodically
- Promote and lead changes
- Contribute to the overall asset renewal plan implementation management for subcontractors
- Provide the weekly/monthly/period and ongoing reporting in line with the contractual and stakeholders requirements
- Perform ‘on call’ duties
- Carry out any other mission or work assigned by the Head of Contract Delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in assets management or contracts management and procurement for high performance systems.
- Strong knowledge of the railway assets, maintenance management and its operations procedures
- Prior involvement and experience in construction or project management is an advantage, including T&C, trial running and handover
- Technical standards relevant to the systems under his/her responsibility
- Risk analysis
- Condition Based (CBM) and predictive maintenance
- Negotiation and authority, with decision making capability
- Anticipation, analysis, identification and problem-solving capacity
- Stakeholder management with internal and external customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and critical ability
- IT proficiency
- Experience in GCC is a strong advantage
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Maintenance
- Support during special events
- Support for specific testing/inspection activities
