BIM/CAD Manager

Responsibilities

• Development of BIM model process management and configuration control across the business
• BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up
• Technical management of project BIM data sets
• Liaise with Design teams to ensure changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated
• Manage and maintain project content and source additional content for project teams
• Helping to technically deliver BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination
• Provide technical support for BIM enabling software applications to the project team
• Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required
• Deliver project team mentoring in BIM Software enabling Applications
• Prepare project BIM execution plans
• To contribute or otherwise assist as required with the necessary IDC/IDR review process
• Manage the BIM Model within the ProjectWise Environment
• Manage the version control and correct layering of the BIM Model including management of regular multidiscipline input reviews.Qualities and Skills required
• Assist with the CAD/QA assurance process pre and post model submission to client organisations.

• Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
• Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
• In-depth working knowledge of MicroStation V8i and BIM enabling applications
• Experience of working in a project coordination role for CAD applications
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility

• Experience working in an architectural/engineering production environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 or higher
