Job Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Coventry Area
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Navartis are sourcing an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work within a closeknit but growing consultancy in the heart of the midlands. This company is a specialist in waste industries including Landfill, Brownfield and Quarry sites.
This is a small but flexible consultancy which focuses on a cohesive working environment and ensuring a good work life balance is achieved.
The company is on a recruitment drive looking to strengthen the team by adding a Geotechnical Engineer, Hydrogeologist and Permitting Consultant.

The key requirements for this Senior Geotechnical role are:
- Supporting Site and Office based staff through peer reviewed work.
- Representing and attending client meetings to discuss projects.
- Site investigations, Surveying and quality assurance of landfill and construction sites.
- Technical report writing on date findings of samples.
- Use of SLOPE/W, AutoCAD and draughting packages.
- Project planning and monitoring of teams KPI's.
- Risk analysis of structures and plans.
- Analysing soil, water and rock samples.

Experience required for this Senior Geotechnical role are:
- Previous experience in contaminated land and hazardous sites.
- Ability to lead a team and guide junior staff members.
- Wanting to get stuck in with all areas of the business.
- A relevant qualification or degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Environmental Engineering / Sciences.

Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this Geotechnical role are:
- Hardworking, can do attitude and solutions focused.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar or Geotechnical Engineering role.
- Previous experience working on landfill sites.

Working Hours 08:30 - 17:00
