Role: Senior Planner - Rail
Location: Derby
Length of Contract: 12 months
Rate of Pay: £350-£400 per day

ATA are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s most well-known Rail contractors to source a Senior Planner for their office based in Derby.

You will be working on Network Rail’s CP5 Framework for the East Midlands which covers refurbishments and renewals of Structures and Earthworks at variations Stations from £0.5m to £5,000,000 in value.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of Planning experience within the Rail industry and will need to demonstrate a particularly high degree of competence in the use of Primavera P6 Planning Software. You will be able to demonstrate previous hands on experience as an Engineer or Site Manager and will have gained sufficient knowledge to enable you to compile a full construction programme from reference to the contract documentation and drawings with very minimal input from the Project Manager. You will also have previous experience as a Tender Planner.

Their CP5 Team in Derby is a very motivated and dedicated team with Project Management often hard to tie down and as such, you must be pro-active and equally motivated to chase down and update relevant information. You must have excellent communication skills and a friendly, team orientated manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of projects, working directly alongside one of our clients Project Managers.
