We are currently recruiting:

Senior Quality Assurance Manager (Ref.: 220000U4)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals as part of the Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU) First Line of Defense in quality assurance
• Assist in planning, developing, implementing, reviewing and improving the Project Integrated Management System (PIMS) to achieve CWBU project management objectives
• Facilitate the digitalisation of MTR quality assurance (QA) tools within the common data environment and the development of best-in-class QA Dashboards, such as Key Performance Indicator dashboards
• Maintain high level of corporate governance in QA through regular reviews, identifying key system deficiencies and recommending effective solutions and improvement actions
• Oversee the administration of new PIMS documents and be responsible for managing the on-line PIMS library
• Maintain overall management of the CWBU audit planning schedule
• Provide professional advice and support to CWBU to contribute to successful project delivery, including independent review of quality plans and related documents
• Plan and perform external quality audits on Operations Projects throughout the MTR network of stations and railways, provide advices and recommend solutions on quality problems and issues
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as government departments to monitor and implement recommendations and improvement actions

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / Quality Management or a related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in quality management, preferably in major construction environment
• Solid experience as a Lead QA Auditor in ISO 9001:2015
• Recognised training in quality improvement certification, such as Six Sigma, Agile Project Management and ISO 9001 quality management training
• Possession of qualification of a recognised professional institution in BIM or Information Management, such as Chartered Quality Institute is preferred
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal, communication and English report writing skills

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
