The Croydon office has a social, close-knit team of around 12, and you’ll be stepping into a key position taking over established project work within the rail sector, including bridges, canopies and temporary works.

The role suits an “all-rounder” design engineer with either structural or temporary works experience who’s keen to broaden into the other discipline. You’ll liaise directly with clients, manage your own workload, and play a visible part in shaping design solutions across multiple rail projects.

Essential Requirements

• 2–6 years’ design experience in structural or temporary works design engineering
• Proven rail project experience (essential)
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Nice to Have

• Dual exposure to both structural and temporary works design
• Working towards ICE or similar professional accreditation
• Interest in mentoring or supporting junior staff
