Job Title: Technical Officer - Rail

Wanted! We have an exciting new requirement for a Technical Officer – Rail with a keen eye for detail and proven experience within the Rail sector.

This is an opportunity to work for a successful company with a portfolio of work expected to last up to 10 years. The current project will see you work part as an active team, completing plain line track renewals with signals & crossings (S&C).

The Candidate:

The successful Technical Officer – Rail will have prior experience in the role. You will be skilled at liaising with stakeholders and working well within a close-knit team, using your health & safety knowledge to ensure the work is carried out in a safe manner and have a great understanding of the rail industry standards.

The Role:

Your responsibilities as a Technical Officer - Rail will include various tasks throughout the lifecycle of the project from initiation to closure. You will be required to use Total Stations and 2D/3D dozing for surveying. You will also have significant understanding of Network Rail rules and regulations.

Requirements:

As a Technical Officer - Rail, you will be required to implement track renewals on plain line and S&C and have a proven track record of track renewal projects. You will have a PTS and be compliant with Health & Safety regulations.

Hours: Full time (minimum of 5 shifts per week)
