About The Role
We are currently seeking an exceptional individual with Telecommunication experience to join our expanding team in Sheffield. The company has an excellent reputation as a highly successful provider of engineering training in the telecommunications, optical, and utility industries.
We are particularly interested in engineers with industrial practical experience and/or academic knowledge gained through sector work. Ideally, you will have relevant skills or knowledge in one or more of the following areas, which you will have gained through applied industry practical experience, professional practice's, or other means.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:
- Supervising other trainers where appropriate and ensuring vital feedback is provided
- Deliver all training and learning skills in their specialised subjects.
- Helping Trainees through e-learning.
- Teach lessons using audio visual aids such as whiteboard or a projector.
- Write Training Plans, Assessment criteria, Lesson Plans and planned training objectives and daily programmes
- Planning training strategies.
- Day to day running of the classroom and practical rooms.
- Clearing away and preparing practical hands on training sessions.
- Regularly under-go coaching and Assessments for CPD.
Desirable Attributes & Skills
- Teaching and Assessor accreditations. Such as C&G Level 3 TAQA or A1 Assessor. (Can work towards and complete through on the job training.)
- A keen interest in Engineering & Telecommunications
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
Schedule
Monday to Friday, Office based position.
