Trainer / Assessors required
Location: Nationwide
Intertrain (UK) Ltd is the largest commercial training provider in the rail industry and we are looking to recruit motivated individuals to join our expanding team in OLE, OTP and Safety Critical rail training and assessment. We are an NSAR ‘Gold’ training company and pride ourselves on our quality of our training delivery.
The desirable candidate will be NSAR assured and will be required to provide training and or / assessing for Intertrain’s rail courses, in particular those applying for OHL should already hold and be capable to deliver OLEC 2 and with OLEC 3 being desirable, Authorised Person and Nominated Person.
We also have vacancies for MC / CC Safety Critical and Vocational Trainer / Assessors.
Positions are available either on a PAYE contract of employment or Associate agreements depending on the individuals desire. Either option has excellent benefits
Qualifications / Expectations required:
• Level 3 Education and training qualification (or equivalent)
• Level 3 Assessing in the Workplace (TAQA)
• PTS AC, DCCR and COSS
• Minimum 5 years rail experience as operational
About You:
• Full UK Driving License
• Excellent Communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to travel and work away to meet the needs of the business (weekends are optional)
• IT, familiar with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
• Desire to work for a national organisation
• Participate in continual CPD and develop in the specialist field as trainer
Please note; applicants will be considered for the role of trainee trainer / assessors will be considered but you must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ occupational experience within:
• OHL – OLEC 2 (If applying for OHL Training)
• PTS
• DCCR
• P-way IWA / COSS Safety Critical
• Track Induction
All training will be provided for Trainee Trainer / Assessors.
