Mechanical Engineer x 2

TXM Recruit is currently working with a Multi-National, Heavy Industry client who are currently in the process of expanding their Engineering Division, in Pilbara, Western Australia. Due to this expansion, they now have a requirement for 2 Mechanical Engineers to improve their Asset Management Divison and provide expertise in improving the Rail Infrastructure currently in place there.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with rail mounted Heavy equipment including stackers, reclaimers and mining materials handling equipment. Providing technical engineering expertise on developing life assest management plans and implementing innovative and cost effective reliability and performance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Providing Technical Engineering Expertise on rail mounted vehicles (stackers, reclaimers and ship loaders)

Development of the whole asset management plan

Identifying and implementing innovative and cost effective technical improvements

Qualifications & Experience.

You will ideally hold a Degree Qualification or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering and have worked within a similar role within a Heavy Industry, such as Mining, Rail or similar market.

Along with the following:

Experience in Railway Infrastructure new implementation

Reliability Engineering experience

Experience covering materials handling equipment and experience working in a "mine site environment"

Advanced computer and software skills

On Offer:

Our client will assist with a 457 Visa, enabling you to work for 4 years within Australia and being able to apply for permanent residency after 2 years.

A very competitive salary of $100 - $110,000 per annum (£66 - £73,000 p/a) with a company pension of 10% of your annual salary contributed by the company, 10% performance bonus.

Re-location package to Western Australia.
