Our client has over AUD$8bn in capital projects through various phases of development, from initial feasibility and definitive engineering studies, through to detailed design, documentation, construction management, commissioning and handover. They are a leading provider of rail engineering, project management and operational support services to the resources and transport industries.

Due to continued growth our client is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide support in relation to issues arising from design & engineering services for civil engineering projects. There would be an emphasis on providing direction & guidance to project teams for the safe delivery of civil, earthworks & pavement design for large linear infrastructure projects in Australia & around the world.

The project work will involve planning & feasibility studies along with detail design input to associated mine, rail & port infrastructure.

Your responsibilities would include

• Management of sub consultants
• Technical report writing
• Overseeing geotechnical design of earthworks & rail formations
• Site based work

The successful individual will be degree educated, hold chartership & have 10+ years experience in areas such as safe earthworks design, remediation & execution etc.

For the right individual the client would provide financial assistance with relocation & the processing of the 457 visa.
