As part of our growth and development, we are looking to recruit a Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Graduate to join our infrastructure business in London. We are a civils and power infrastructure contractor with a great bank of work and large pipeline for future projects, generally working in the rail industry.

We have a requirement for a Graduate who has a degree in either Health & safety, Environmental management or Quality and has a passion for HSQE along with the construction industry in general.

The role is to Support in the delivery of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality services to ensure compliance to applicable corporate, legal, and client requirements. This role will cover key compliance elements for HSQE across departments and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the review and approval process of key project documentation including risk assessments, inspection plans, COSHH, project HSQE plans
• Support development and implementation of the Sustainable Business Plan and related targets and objectives
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the IMS in line with applicable ISO/BS, legal, and corporate requirements
• Conduct HSQE internal audits and inspections of departments and project teams
• Prepare for and participate in external audits as directed by the HSQE team

Job Requirements

• A keen interest in health & safety, sustainability and the environment and / or quality processes is desired
• Experience of data analysis, monitoring, and reporting
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office applications
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office applications

Desirable - one of the following:

HSQE related degree (or equivalent)

IEMA Associate / Graduate member

ISOH Student / Associate member

CQI Student / Affiliate member.
