I am working with an engineering contractor based in north west London who are looking for a Health and Safety Manager (HSEA Manager), working on a number of projects in rail and utilities.
This role will be reporting to the Managering Director and will be following the company processes in quality, safety, environment, deployment and training.
The role:
- Taking charge of the IMS (Integrated Management System), Audit process, mainting ISO 9001,ISO 1 4001 and OHSAS 18001
- Ensuring all systems, policies and regulations are kept up to date and in line with regulations
- Developing and reviewing document procedures
- Understand the company Health and Safety, Envionrmental and Quality Policies and Procedures
- Assist in investigation of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurences, near misses and other incidents
- Quality Assurance- ensuring all systems and procdures are in place to prevent mistakes/or defects in the companies rail infrastructure business
- Coordinate the review of standards and legal requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- NEBOSH Ceritificate
- Experience working in railway engineering/ construction industry
- Good Communicator with frontline staff and senior management
- Experience working with ISO <phone number removed> and ability to undertake effective auditing
- Experience in the implementation of management systems
- Workign towards environmental qualification
- An understnading of ISO requirements and environmental and Quality qualification
