Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus car allowance & package

Role Information

A specialist arm of a tier 1 principal contractor specialising in sustainability and a complete understanding of structures is looking to take on a Health & Safety Advisor to work as part of their multi-disciplinary team that provides practical and innovative solutions to the challenges posed by today's-built environment, heritage structures and legacy issues.

The H&S Advisor ensures the effective management of Health & Safety at the office and sites where related operations are taking place, these include, but are not be limited to:

- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation
- Production of legal documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments etc
- Visiting site and engaging with site teams and managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires
- Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations
- Engaging with the client and other external stakeholders

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within the civils, construction or rail industry
- A NEBOSH General certificate as a minimum
- CSCS / PTS Desirable
- Minimum of TECH IOSH status
- A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulation
