Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. They provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.
You will need:
To have knowledge and experience of Rail safety critical work, and communications background as you will be producing content for the Safety communications website Southern Shield, the website used to showcase all of the safety content which is developed by the team.
The successful candidate must have worked within a safety critical environment specifically within the railway. If the successful candidate doesn’t have this then must have a safety background.
Essential
- Railway safety understanding
- Significant experience within corporate communications
- Proven track record in public relations activity in a high-profile organisation
- Excellent writing skills and ability to think strategically
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge of the media and how it operates
Desirable
- Educated to degree level
- Experience of working within an agency environment
The Role:
- Working closely with the supported business area/s to develop, drive and implement the HR Strategy/People Plan to include; talent, succession planning and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high performance culture.
- Act as an integral member of the business leadership team, building strong relationships with senior business leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
