Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager with a wealth of experience supporting on major infrastructure and civils projects (shafts, tunnels, heavy ground engineering ideal)?

Do you have proven experience supporting the whole lifecycle of the project from inception to completion?

Do you have a strong understating of the UK safety standards and legislation?

Our client are working on a Major London project client facing with HS2, helping to revolutionise London Rail Networks. As Health and Safety Advisor you will have the opportunity to support on this vast project and make a big impact on driving forward safety processes.

The Role as Health and Safety Advisor

• Support the Health and Safety Manager on the implementation and ongoing compliance of the project.
• Play a key role in helping to establish and maintain the highest and new Health and Safety Legislation.
• Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, incidents, and ill health.
• Assist the SHE Manager and other members of the HSS team.
• Where necessary, assist in the preparation and implementation of Health and Safety Training and Briefs.

• Obtain competency cards in line with the SCS Competence Card Compliance Standard

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience within a Rail / Construction / infrastructure environment -
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH Ideal but not essential)
