Health & Safety Specialist - Transport Sector

This is very active hands on role that will deliver HSE support within the transportation sector, the HSE specialist will visit engineering & operational departments, challenging non-conformance to company HSE policy, and actively coaching the various levels of supervision within a variety of tightly regulated, safety critical roles.

It is expected that you will have worked within rail, bus, hgv fleet, aviation or defence sectors for an operator previously and have a comprehensive understandings of the latest HSE methods, policies and standards for the safe operation and maintenance of transportation assets and/ or infrastructure.

You will need to be an effective communicator and expected to be have technical background and carry NEBOSH/ IOSH qualification / certification or a HSE degree. Hands on experience of Audit within any elements of QHSE is highly desirable, as are Audit qualifications.
