Rail - Health Safety & Environment Manager: Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are working with a major international Construction firm who have recently been awarded a major Rail Civils package on a Metro Project in Philippines and are requiring an experience Health, Safety & Environment Manager.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be joining an International Team playing a key role in the successful delivery of Civil works including Track, Tunnels (TBM), Stations and Elevated structures. This is a long-term opportunity to join a Global Leader with a proven track record of delivering similar international projects.

Responsibilities:

The Health, Safety & Environment Manager shall be responsible for Managing the Setting Up, Operating & Monitoring of Standards and Codes across the project. You shall be supported by a team of Engineers consisting of various experience levels and be required to work closely with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure a successful and safe delivery.

Requirements for the role are:

• A degree (undergrad or masters) in Health and Safety or related subject
• (alternatively) have had vocational training, maintain certification
• 12+ years overall professional experience (including for a contractor)
• 5+ years of Rail/ Metro project experience
• Previous knowledge of TBM metro projects would be positive.
• Regional Experience would be preferred.

Salary Package:

The salary on offer is flexible depending on level and experience but would come with an expatriate package including flights, accommodation, insurances, annual leave etc.
