Systems Safety Integration Assessor: Saudi Arabia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting the Neom Rail project and are requiring a Systems Safety Integration Assessor to be based in Saudi Arabia.

This is an expat role and comes with full package including accommodation, flights, health insurance and tax free salary.

Responsibilities:

As System Safety Integration Assessor, you will assess project delivery of systems assurance, safety engineering (CSM, interoperability, CDM), infrastructure and rail vehicle engineering.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assess the system safety integration processes from design to construction and Testing and Commissioning
• Assess the processes to manage system safety (including CDM, CSM-RA and interoperability), Verification and Validation (V&V) and system assurance
• Assess the production of System safety level specifications across disciplines and across extensions (e.g. System Specifications, Interface Specifications, Transverse "ad hoc" studies); Ensure compliance to procedures, relevant regulations, relevant applicable standards and statutory requirements
• Contribute towards the standardization of specifications for all sub-systems and develop appropriate design criteria wherever not present.
• Liaise with project Owner's team for all system safety related issues or decisions, represent systems teams in meetings, provide technical opinion or support whenever needed
• Assess the System level Functional and Architecture Specifications
• Coordinate the Quality aspects of the sub-systems deliverables as per the project Quality Management plan principles

Requirements for the role are:

• 10-15 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions, with at least 5 years' experience as a System Integrator / CRE / Design Manager / Safety Assurance Assessor
• Excellent knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements, available equipment, and systems.
• Excellent understanding to Systems Engineering, CENELEC and associated rail standards, and related regulations (CDM, CSM, RIR)
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent engineering, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English Language
• Ability to relocate single status

Salary Package:
