Delivery Manager- SPL Rail Resourcing

SPL Powerlines Group is delivering some of the largest and complex overhead line projects for NWR within the UK , we are looking to recruit a Delivery Manager for our internal resource function SPLRR based in Scotland.

Job Description

• The candidate must have experience in both the recruitment and allocation of resource to large infrastructure projects
• Must be able to build and manage a team while delivering resource to our own internal projects along with developing the supply of resources to external clients.
• Be responsible for the safe deployment of resources by SPL RR branches into rail projects delivered by both SPL and other external clients within the Scotland area.
• Assist in developing efficient project delivery by attending project planning meetings and ensuring that the correct levels of compliant and competent resources are being allocated.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with SPL RR and external clients.
• Proven track record of resourcing and managing resources within the rail sector
• Hold monthly depot strategic resource planning meetings

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge of rail safety critical roles and responsibilities

Understanding of the different work requirements of rail projects

Good Rail Rule Book knowledge

Excellent Safety knowledge and attitude.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Valid PTS

Full Driving Licence
