Hades Recruitment are looking for an experienced Rail Recruitment / Resource Consultant to join our fast expanding Rail Division. You will be the vital link between clients and candidates, providing effective recruitment and delivery service for a variety of projects across the UK.
The right candidate will have experience in a 360 role, and you will be expected for have a strong knowledge of the Rail industry and understanding of the Rail Recruitment market and processes.
The role is demanding and diverse, you will be responsible for:
- Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from our clients and to build and develop positive relationships.
- Developing a good understanding of our client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment.
- Management of company diary and Resource placement
- Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, including social media to attract candidates and build relationships.
- Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client. Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
- Briefing the candidate about arrangements, responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job and PPE/Tools requirements.
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants including Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client and communicating results of interviews.
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates and offering advice to candidates on pay rates, training and career progression.
- Responsible for managing the on-call rota and covering on-call shifts when required.
- Cross refencing of time sheets and submitting pay requirements to our accounts departments.
The ideal candidate will:
- Will have experience in recruitment sales
- Will be motivated by personal and team success
- Will hold a full UK driving licence
- Will have a broad knowledge of legislation and regulations within the recruitment sector
