Main Responsibilities
As a Resource Manager you will...
-Maintain regular contact with client labour managers in connection with supply numbers recognising diverse and critical skill requirements.
-Attend client planning and review meetings as required.
-Provide visibility to the National Rail Contracts Manager of emergent manning requirements and agree engagement and training strategies to satisfy all requirements.
-Within the support team, maintain current skills/training records and ensure all key skills are kept current.
-Take responsibility for quality of supply and ensure that all necessary improvement actions are fully defined and implemented in conjunction with the National Rail Contracts Manager.
-Support the National Rail Contracts Manager in his customer support function through provision of manning supply data in line with external customer requirements and timeframes.
-Maintain strong connections with HSQE operations staff in support of all deployed track teams and where advanced planning is concerned.
-Participate in "right team" selection process leveraging new and untested talent in a controlled way leading to effective learning, delivery and ultimately retention of the right people.
-Actively engage in problem solving in connection with payments and ensure strict compliance with all related management systems across all teams undertaking work on behalf of the client.
-Reports monthly on the key performance measures dealing with skilled labour supply within each of the supply portfolios against the requirements of each individual contract.
-Supports National Rail Contracts Manager in client matters as required
-Maintain good relations with Clients and their representatives at all times.
-Any other duties as requested by line manager

--Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills, that will support the delivery of your duties and able to clearly explain tasks and inspire others with varying backgrounds
-Have high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of your work
-Show initiative and know when to escalate issues for Supervisor/ Management support.
-Be a team player with regards to sharing information, helping to resolve a problem, working towards common goals, properly dividing tasks between team members, etc.
-Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
