Core Purpose: Entry level position, working under the general direction and supervision of more senior staff, controlling digital information on a project, submissions, transmittals, requests for information etc. for engineering commissions. To participate in the delivery of communities of practice initiatives within the local team

- Able to demonstrate basic experience and expertise as a Digital Information Controller, probably gained whilst working in an apprentice or trainee role
- Able to control digital information on a project, submissions, transmittal, requests for information etc. for engineering commissions, working under supervision
- Able to recognize the importance of following procedures associated with health, safety and welfare, e.g. Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
- Basic experience of working on BIM Level 2 projects
- Basic experience of using EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems)
- Basic experience of MicroStation / CAD as appropriate to the sector

- Level 4 HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or appropriate level of experience
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) Legislation BS1192, PAS1192 Suite
- BIM content standards and development procedures
