CARBON SPECIALIST - LONDON - PERMANENT - £62,000 - £75,000
This is a position where you truly can make a difference in Carbon reduction across the UK's railway. ARM are working with a leading rail client and we are looking to recruit a Carbon Specialist to join their team based in London.
About You:
* You will be an experience Carbon specialist with demonstrable experience of carbon management and decarbonisation
* You will have a good understanding of carbon mitigation
* Ideally you will have some understanding of nitrous oxide and its effects on the environment, as well as other airborne particulates
* Ideally you will come from a rail, aviation, transport or highways / road background
What you will be doing:
This role will lead on decarbonisation on the UK's railways and will work with rail operators, Network Rail and the DfT to reduce the carbon and mitigation applied to output also. This will also look at the supply chain and reducing carbon in that also. You will be working with a team of specialists who will be looking at air and noise pollution also.
This position has its office based in London and currently the team are working hybrid, with around 1 or 2 days a week in the office.
The salary range for this position is between £62,000 and £75,000 + up to 13% bonus. On top of this is an excellent pension scheme, 30 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) and much more.
