Lead Control Centre Engineer (Hardware Engineer) in Radlett, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom
Our client is currently looking for a Lead control centre engineer to join their team to support their current team to develop their product. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly knowledgeable team where you will be taking the lead to assist and support the team to develop the hardware used to the company's own product.
The scope of work will include designing from the concept to the production if the modular printed circuit board assemblies and computer based products. This will range in complexity from the discreet transistor to PIC devices.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a tier 1 global company who are one of the leading Railway Signalling Company's in the industry. You do not need to come from a railway background, we are looking for an individual who has the understanding of electrical circuit design (Analogue or Digital) and understands the process from the design all the way through to testing.

Roles and Responsibility's:
- Lead allocated development projects for new control centre products within the control centre product team taking responsibility for both the hardware and software elements of the product
- Lead allocated development projects including Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments
- Contribute to technical strategy of the team
- Contribute to the approval of new products and the approval of existing product
- To comply with, undertake and promote all relevant Environment, Health & Safety measures, responsibilities and activities.
